Thanks! Metal Spikes: NO< NO>NO! Metal spikes were approved for high school play only. NOT ASA. Do NOT let your players wear metal spikes. If someone gets injured there are liability issues that we don't want to deal with.
Run Rule: There is no run rule in league play.
4 outfielders: Only the 12's can play with four outfielders (all other divisions are three).
Lineup / Substitutions: During league play every division can bat their whole line up and have free substitution in the field OR the can choose to go with a straight nine (or 10 if using a DP/Flex). The coach must make the decision at the beginning of the game. ( I was incorrect on this earlier)
Lightening Rule: Play should be suspended at the first sign of lightening. Play may resume 30 minutes after the last flash of lightening.
